Dr. med. Gregor Blome

Dr. med. G. Blome, a consultant, together with his team of health care professionals, makes sure that every single patient of the ATOS Private Clinic Munich will be care-fully examined before the surgery.
A thorough internal examination should eliminate the potential risk factors of the planned operation. Such an examination includes a detailed investigation of a pa-tients medical history, a physical examination comprising a lung function analysis, ECG, sonography and, if necessary, a vascular Doppler test and a cardiac stress test.
A current laboratory analysis shows the possible signs of inflammation and ensures the proper organ and metabolic function.
Together with his team, Dr. Blome looks after the patients of the ATOS Private Clinic Munich during the postoperative period and while staying at the clinic. On the day of discharge from the clinic a final consultation will take place: on that occasion, all the pre- and post-treatment examination results will be explained to the patient once again, and he will also receive a detailed written diagnostic report

After discharge from the clinic, the patients may also continue consulting and receiv-ing medical care from Dr. Blomes practice team, such as, e.g. regarding any internal medical issue or postoperative pain management. There is some additional service for the patients, living outside Munich: by appointment, a specialist form Dr. Blomes practice team will visit you at home or in hotel, a mobile ECG, ultrasound and lung function test devices will allow to perform all the technical examinations. This special private care service is of particular benefit to the patients suffering from chronic pain or after complex surgical interventions requiring special post-operative wound care. Please, note that most private medical insurances will cover all of these services.

Our physicians bring all the medication required for comprehensive pain treatment in accordance with the WHOs pain ladder, so that the patient does not have to go to the pharmacy on duty.
